...and here we have the pictures I was eager to see developed! All of the below pictures were taken during an adventure to Mailbu, CA on a beautiful winter Sunday (December 20,2009 - to be exact).

This leopard shark was caught by fishermen on the beach...made me think twice about the safety in our waters!!

Triple Exposure

So..as you can see the pics were processed and developed!! How exciting, right?

The pic below is the first picture I took using my Diana F+. I used the fish-eye lense with a regular flash (no color).

However, the picture below was taken using the green color flash in addition to the fish-eye lense. This pic is a triple exposure...a picture of ornaments on a christmas tree, a picture of me as well as a picture of a menorah standing on a stool. What do you think?

Klick Max Film

Just got off the phone with lomography.com 's customer service...and after a mere two seconds was told that any regular film process will develop this film! Wooohooo! So i'm headed over to Costco to have them develop my film..then i'll be able to post pics here for you to see!

10 Golden Rules of Lomography:

1.) Take your camera everywhere you go
2.) Use it any time – day and night
3.) Lomography is not an interference in your life, but part of it
4.) Try the shot from the hip
5.) Approach the objects of your lomographic desire as close as possible
6.) Don’t think (william firebrace)
7.) Be fast
8.) You don’t have to know beforehand what you captured on film
9.) Afterwards either
10.) Don’t worry about any rules

Klick Max Film (35mm)

When I purchased my Diana F+ camera I also purchased 3 rolls of Klick Max expired film to start off. As it turns out I have to have this film developed by a pro..and i'm having some difficulty finding someone local. Yesterday I was told of a pro camera developer, so today after work I continue this adventure to find someone to develop my film. I wish I was in the 'know' of where to have this type of film developed, so until then patience and determination!!

First Blog

Welcome to my first blog. I never thought I'd be the 'type' to write a blog but as I was driving home the other day from an adventure in Malibu I decided I was going to start. A few months ago I became interested in the Diana F+ toy camera that produces images not quite like those from a digital, but all the more exciting and intriguing. This term, lomography was new to me but after months and months of scouring the internet about the history and re-development I couldn't resist purchasing my own. It's one of those items that you know you don't need, but once you get it, it changes you or should I say you change because of it. This camera is changing me. It's changing the way I look at life. It's putting a lense in front of me at all times (only if I had a shutter to capture it all!). So stay tuned, because next time I hope to share my lomo photos!
